Empowered women make choices based on healthy and realistic options and exercise choices in consideration of the consequences. The House of Sophrosyne believes women require unique, supportive programs provided in an all-female environment in order to initiate and sustain the process of recovery from chemical dependency. "

"We exist to aid women with addictions to eliminate substance abuse from their lives and to embrace a healthy self-image by improving their physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being. In addition, the House exists to improve the lives of those who are impacted by the addictions of others."
